- What is the top speed of
those motorcycles?

90 km/h maximum in theory , but this speed
shouldn't be sustained for too long. 70-80
km/h is an ideal cruising speed for these
bikes. But, with some modifications
and optimal tuning, it is possible to reach
higher speeds (120km/h) .
- Are they reliable?

Yes, as long as we keep in mind that those
bikes are built and rely on 1930's technologies
- Is it necesary to be a mechanic to own one of these bikes?

No, just a pasion for these kinds of motorcycles
and "know how "
- How many people can fit on these bikes?

2 people on the bike and one in the sidecar.
Some sidecars have been modified to accept
2 people.
- Are they hard to register?

No, Montreal Sidecar's bikes have already
been registered and titled in Quebec, only
a regular transfert of ownership is required.
If you have opted to take care of importation
yourself, you must insure to comply with
your regions regulations.
- How about insurance?

Your actual insurance company will most
probably insure them, some insurance companies
will insure them only if you are already
a client of theirs.
- Do they have to be inspected by the saaq?

No, all Montreal Sidecar's bikes have already
been inspected and approuved.
- Who can take care of maintenance?

Everyone is able and encouraged to do their
own maintenance, but Montreal Sidecar can
also do it for you.
- Is there a warranty?

There is no official warranty for those motorcycles,
but in reasonable circumstances, we will
always try to provide help for our clients.
-Can we buy a sidecar without
the bike?
-Yes,
sidecars can be purchased and fitted to any
kind of bikes. Specific brackets must be
used to accomodate each types of bikes.

Although many competitors do it, we
do not sell low quality "new from the
factory" bikes. All our bikes are
rebuilt with the highest quality parts
available. Our paints, powdercoat and
chrome quality have nothing to do with
lower standards used in China. Your
decision on buying a bike shouldn't
be based only on lower price if you
want to your experience with
these kind of bikes more enjoyable.
